The Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold is a dual-plane, low-rise intake manifold with a 180 degree firing order and a patented runner design that delivers outstanding performance. This patented design greatly improves torque over a wide RPM range, especially off-idle through 5,500 RPM. It provides crisp throttle response over stock intakes. With this new manifold, rodders can take advantage of the higher flow available with the Vortec head design. It has provisions for external water bypass. It accepts late model waterneck, alternator, HEI and air conditioning but will not accept stock automotive carburetors or 262 TBI unit.
